It’s another month of marveling Hollywood movie collection as the biggest stars grace the big screen with amazing performances. August brings us blockbusters, surreal action, thriller, drama, romantic comedy and of course something for the kids to savor this summer.

Fast & Furious stars, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham collide in another action packed special, “Hobbs & Shaw.” This summer also sees Hollywood’s finest in Dave Bautista, Regina Hall, Idris Elba, Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Jason Sudeikis, Morgan Freeman, Gerard Butler, Michelle Williams and a host of other amazing actors mesmerize us on the big screen. HOBBS & SHAW

 

Brawl, Power & Wit

The producers of the Fast & Furious franchise gifts us another classic action and brawl starring Dwayne Johnson and English action hero, Jason Statham in what could be the biggest Hollywood blockbuster this month according to critics. A quick synopsis of Universal Pictures’ special.

ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2

The birds are under siege

‘Angry Birds” make a return to the big screen in what would be a second installment to the first put out in 2016. Columbia Pictures and Sony are behind this big one. Something for the kids to enjoy this summer as Chuck, Red and Bomb return to big screen animation in what could be the biggest animation movie this August with a host of Hollywood’s funniest stars.

The birds’ home may just be under threat as hostile birds from a strange island enclosed in ice plan to wipe out the entire birdie race. Now Red and his friends must resort to a unification with the pigs to take down a common enemy as they plan a counter attack again these rascal birds from the island. See trailer here.

GOOD BOYS

In another special from Universal Pictures, “Good Boys” has got us in for some good laugh on the big screen this August. Movie tells the story of three obnoxious yet adventurous adolescents who want to be adults so bad. Better watch your kids because these wanna-be adults can cuss. A quick preview of the movie.

PRÉCIS

Max decides to honor a rare invitation to a kissing party but he soon finds out his inexperienced friends got no game. So he figured spying on the teenage girls on the next block using his father’s drone. Unfortunately, the drone is caught by the girls and now they must regain possession before Max’ dad arrives. Does he really know his job?

Another blockbuster this summer as “London Has Fallen” comes out yet another thriller in “Angel Has Fallen” starring action hero, Gerard Butler and the iconic, Morgan Freeman.
