The end of the year always means tons of great big screen releases. However this November, movie lovers will be overwhelmed, as there are ten new selection of movies worthy of their time and attention. Fans of Marvel and DC will be excited as superhero franchises like Thor Ragnarok and Justice League are coming out this November. Bragging rights on who does better at the box office this month. We also have star-studded comedies, action blockbusters and dramas that are certainly Oscar worthy.

Stars like Denzel Washington, Julia Roberts, Johnny Depp, Chris Hemsworth, Mila Kunis to mention but a few are Hollywood’s biggest stars gracing our screens this November. This is also the month of sequels as three movies vie for the attention of their loyal fans.  No matter your taste, prepare to be busy in the coming weeks. With the no further ado, here are the top ten movies to see this November:


It is an upcoming American Christmas comedy film and a sequel to Bad Moms. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn reprise their roles from the first film.

The girls find themselves even more annoyed with their responsibility overloaded lives after their mothers arrive for the holidays. It is set to be released on November 1st. See trailer


Marvel fans can’t wait for this movie. Chris Hemsworth reclaims his role as the god of Asgard – Thor. It is a 2017 American superhero film produced by Marvel studios. This is the third installment in the Thor franchise.

It also stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk while trying to save his home world from Hela. It is set to be released on November 3rd. See trailer here


It is an upcoming American Comedy film. It stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, John Cena, John Lithgow and Mel Gibson. It is a sequel to the 2015 film Daddy’s Home.

Following the events of the first film, Brad and Dusty must deal with their intrusive fathers during the holidays and also Dusty with his Step-child’s biological father. It is set to be released November 10th. See trailer


It is an upcoming 2017 American legal drama. It stars an ensemble cast of Denzel Washington, Colin Farrell and Carmen Ejogo. Following the demise of his legal partner, Denzel Washington assumes control of his firm at which point he must contend with revelations about its corrupt practices.

    • LADY BIRD:

    It is a 2017 American comedy-drama film. It stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts and Lois Smith.

Oscar buzz is already mounting for both Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf for their roles as mother and daughter in this acclaimed coming of age drama. It is set to be released November 3rd. See trailer


It is American comedy drama based on a novel. It stars Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne.

Set in 2003, three men who once served the same marine unit together reunite when one’s son is killed in combat in Iraq. It is set to be released November 3rd. See trailer


It is an upcoming American mystery film based on the 1934 novel of the same name. The film stars Branagh as Hercule Poirot, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer and Daisy Ridley.

A lavish trip to Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. It is set to be released Nov 10th. See trailer


DC fanatics will surely love this American superhero film. It stars a group of A-list actors that include Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa. In Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team consisting of themselves, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg to honor Superman following his death and to save the plane from the latest apocalyptic threat to mankind.

Based on a 2012 novel of the same name, the film stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as the parents of a young boy, portrayed by Jacob Tremblay, who struggles to overcome a congenital facial deformity while attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.

  • COCO:

It is a 2017 American 3D computer animated musical adventure film. It stars Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal and Benjamin Bratt.

A young Mexican boy with love for music finds himself in the land of the dead, where he goes to search for his favorite singer. It is set to be released November 22nd. See trailer
