IS BUHARI THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB?

Now I’ve been trying to shy away from this discussion ever since he won the APC primaries. But recent opinions by most people especially in the media have been posing Buhari as the right man to lead Nigerian. Now this man has ruled before and now he’s going for a second time. Before now a lot of things were said about him allegedly having a hand in the nation’s recent crisis. A dictator in his military days and he was recently accused of being a religionist of which he didn’t bluntly deny when he was interviewed by one of the top media houses in Nigeria. So General Buhari has a lot of baggage which has suddenly disappeared because he’s now a presidential aspirant. General Buhari will be up against the incumbent president Jonathan of the PDP come 2015. Recently, former president Olusegun Obasanjo sent open letters to the president and in those letters, he did criticize and made some salient points about the Jonathan government which points to the fact that perhaps Obasanjo may not be on the side of the president and we all know what that means. With all the uproar that has enveloped the Jonathan regime, do you think Buhari can do any better? Is Buhari really that person Nigeria has been waiting for to bring that ideal change?
