Spanish giants Barcelona emerged European Super Cup winners after a nerve wrecking encounter against Emery’s Sevilla in Georgia. Ever Benega got his side in front in the 3rd minute to give Sevilla the lead. But a quick response from danger-man Lionel Messi with two wonderful free kicks put Barcelona ahead in the game after 17 minutes. Just before half-time, Rafinha made it 3-1 for the Spanish champions. But a quick goal from Jose Antonio Reyes to make it 4-2 and cool finish from Kevin Grameiro from the penalty spot made it 4-3 made the last 20 minutes of the game intense as Barcelona defended for their lives. New signing Konoplyanka turned the game on its head when he equalized for Sevilla in the 81st minute taking the game into extra time. 5 minutes to the end of extra time, came the winner as Pedro Rodriguez handed Barcelona their 5th European Super Cup trophy and their 4th title in the year 2015.
